Bubba Kennedy played for the Balmain Tigers for three seasons. He was with the team from 1996 to 1998. During his time there, he was a very important player. He was the team's top try scorer in his first two seasons. In total, he played 61 first-grade games for the Tigers.
Representing NSW Country
In 1997, Bubba Kennedy also played in a special game. This game was called the City vs Country Origin fixture. It's where players from country areas play against players from the city. Bubba came off the bench in that game. He scored a try, helping his NSW Country team win 17-4 against City.
A Long Career
After leaving the Balmain Tigers, Bubba Kennedy kept playing rugby league. He played for many different country teams. He continued playing into his late 40s! Some of the teams he played for include Lithgow Workies and Bathurst Panthers. He also played for Orange Hawks, Cabonne United, Mudgee Dragons, and the Blayney Bears.
