Playing for the Balmain Tigers
Bubba Kennedy played for the Balmain Tigers for three seasons. He was with the team from 1996 to 1998. During his time there, he played in 61 first-grade games. He was also the top try scorer for the club in his first two seasons.
Playing for NSW Country
In 1997, Bubba Kennedy got to play in a special game. He represented the NSW Country team. This team played against the City team in the annual City vs Country Origin match. Kennedy came off the bench as a substitute player. He scored a try in the game, helping NSW Country win 17-4.
Rugby League After Balmain
After leaving the Balmain Tigers, Bubba Kennedy continued to play rugby league. He played for various teams in country areas. He even kept playing into his late 40s! Some of the teams he played for include:
