William Leslie Mallory Sr. (born October 4, 1931 – died December 10, 2013) was an important American politician. He was elected to the Ohio House of Representatives in 1966. He served there for 28 years. In 1974, he made history. He became the first African American to be the Majority Floor Leader. This meant he was the main leader for his political party in the Ohio House.

When he retired in 1994, William Mallory Sr. was the longest-serving majority leader in Ohio's history. He was known for his dedication to public service.
