The Wilshire Country Club is a private golf club located in Los Angeles, California. It features a large 18-hole golf course on the West Coast of the United States.
This club is in the Hancock Park area of Los Angeles. It was started in 1919, and its golf course opened the next year. A famous designer named Norman Macbeth created the course. The club is south of Hollywood and about 6 miles (10 km) northwest of downtown. A road called Beverly Boulevard cuts through the course. Golfers use a small tunnel to get from one part of the course to the other. The first nine holes are on the south side, and the last nine holes, along with the clubhouse, are on the north side.

Golf Tournaments at Wilshire
The Wilshire Country Club has hosted many important golf tournaments over the years.
PGA Tour Events
The club was the home of the Los Angeles Open on the PGA Tour four times. These tournaments happened in 1928, 1931, 1933, and 1944.
Senior Tour Events
For six seasons, from 1995 to 2000, the Wilshire Country Club hosted the SBC Senior Classic. This tournament is part of the PGA Tour Champions, which is for older professional golfers.
LPGA Tour Events
The club has also welcomed the LPGA Tour, which is for professional women golfers.
- In 2001, it hosted the Office Depot Championship.
- Since 2018, it has been the home of the DIO Implant LA Open. This tournament started in 2018.
- In 2023, the DIO Implant LA Open moved to the Palos Verdes Golf Club.
