Lincoln Plantation is a small community located in Oxford County, Maine, in the United States. It's called a plantation, which is a type of town in Maine. The village of Wilson's Mills is part of this area. In 2020, only 41 people lived here.

Geography and Natural Features

Lincoln Plantation covers about 36.8 square miles (95.4 square kilometers). Most of this area, about 32.5 square miles (84.1 square kilometers), is land. The remaining 4.4 square miles (11.3 square kilometers) is water.

Lakes and Rivers

A large part of Aziscohos Lake is found within the plantation. This lake is actually a reservoir, which is a man-made lake used to store water. The water in Aziscohos Lake is held back by the Aziscohos Dam. This dam is built on the Magalloway River.

Aziscohos Mountain

Lincoln Plantation is also home to Aziscohos Mountain. The top of this mountain is very high, reaching about 3,215 feet (980 meters) above sea level. It offers great views of the surrounding area.

Population and People

The number of people living in Lincoln Plantation has changed over the years. In 1930, there were 90 residents. By 2020, the population had decreased to 41 people. This makes it a very small and quiet community.

Community Life

In 2000, there were 46 people living in the plantation, making up 24 households. Most of the people living here were White. The community had a lot of older residents, with many people aged 45 or older. The average age was 56 years old.
