Winter is a small village located in Sawyer County, Wisconsin, in the United States. It's part of the larger Town of Winter. In 2010, about 313 people lived there.

History of Winter

The village of Winter was started in 1904. It got its name from W. C. Winter, who was an important person in the railroad business. A post office has been open in Winter since the very beginning, also in 1904.
