Where is Witmer Located?
Witmer is in the middle part of Lancaster County. It sits in the eastern section of East Lampeter Township.
- To the south, you'll find Smoketown.
- To the northeast, it borders Upper Leacock Township.
The community is about 0.6 miles (1 kilometer) north of Pennsylvania Route 340. It is also about 6 miles (10 kilometers) east of Lancaster, which is the main city and county seat.
Land and Water in Witmer

Both Stauffer Run and Mill Creek are small rivers that eventually join the Conestoga River. The Conestoga River then flows southwest into the larger Susquehanna River.
