Phineas and Ferb (season 2)
List of Phineas and Ferb episodes

Wizard of Odd is a fun episode from the second season of the TV show Phineas and Ferb. It's the 56th episode of the season and the 103rd episode overall. In this episode, Mom asks Phineas, Ferb, and Candace to clean the house. Candace doesn't want to help. Instead, she reads a book called The Wizard of Oz.

Phineas and Ferb decide to clean the house in their own unique way. They spin the house really fast while spraying it with a hose! This accidentally knocks Candace out, sending her into a dream world. This world looks a lot like the one from The Wizard of Oz. Candace thinks her brothers made this dream world as a trick. She tries to find a place called "Bustopolis" to expose them. But soon, she finds out that bad guys want the special boots that have appeared on her feet!

The Dream Journey Begins

Candace is bored and lying on her bed. Her Mom tells her to help Phineas and Ferb wash the house. Or, she can read The Wizard of Oz. Candace chooses to read.

While she reads, the boys start washing and spinning the house. It spins so fast that Candace passes out! When she wakes up, she's in a strange new world. Little people called "Patchkins" (Fireside Girls) greet her. They tell her she landed on someone named Suzy and now has her boots.

The Good Witch (Isabella) appears and gives the boots to Candace. But then, Doofenwarlock (Doofenshmirtz), the bad guy, shows up. He wants those boots! Candace wonders how to "bust" her brothers in this dream. The Good Witch tells her to follow the yellow sidewalk to Bustopolis.

New Friends and Challenges

As Candace and Perry follow the yellow sidewalk, they meet Baljeet. He's hanging like a "nerd crow" and sings about wanting to be cool. Candace helps him down, and he joins them on the way to Bustopolis.

Suddenly, Phineas and Ferb appear! They suggest Candace take a different path. They offer to ride unicorns through a "sugary wonderland." Candace refuses, still thinking they are behind this. Meanwhile, Doofenwarlock sends flying squirrels to catch Candace. His spider monkey traps Perry.

Next, Candace meets a talking tree (Jeremy). She flirts with him and invites him to join their group. Baljeet isn't too happy about this. Phineas and Ferb interrupt again. They invite the group to skate on an ice cream path instead of walking through a dark forest. Candace says no, even though her new friends want to go.

Through the Dark Forest

The group enters the dark forest. Candace gets scared by an owl (Stacy). Then, they meet a creature that's a mix of a lion, tiger, and bear (Buford). Candace asks him what he wishes for. He says he doesn't want anything, but he still joins the group.

Phineas and Ferb pop up one more time. They suggest traveling on a bouncy blue sidewalk. Candace says no again. Soon after, Doofenwarlock's flying squirrels capture Candace. She is taken to a spider web trap where Perry is also caught. Doofenwarlock wants Candace's red rubber boots, which have become very tight. He plans to use a ray to make her disappear. Candace apologizes to Perry for their situation.

Perry easily escapes his trap. He asks a fairy (Major Monogram) to save Candace. The other friends pretend to be makeover artists. As the ray fires, Perry and Candace run. Buford destroys an orb that shows them running.

Reaching Bustopolis

When Doofenwarlock's guards are told to attack, Candace defends her friends. She throws a bucket of water on Doofenwarlock's clothes. When the guards are told to attack again, Candace tells them it's a bad idea. The guards then complain that they never get what they want.

The group escapes while the guards are singing. They use a grappling hook to get onto a blimp because the drawbridge was lifted. Candace sees her brothers driving the blimp. She denies having any fun. A flying squirrel cuts the hook, and the group falls into what looks like a "Sea of Razor Sharp Rock Spires." Luckily, it's actually a sea of soft pillows!

The group is now very close to Bustopolis. Candace once again avoids Phineas and Ferb's idea. She takes the Yellow Staircase, but her friends take an elevator slide. At the top, the wizard (Linda Flynn-Fletcher) gives out gifts. Baljeet gets "cool" sunglasses. Buford, who wanted nothing, gets a ham sandwich. Jeremy learns he was just wearing a tree costume that can be removed.

Doofenwarlock gets the boots from Candace and sings about them. But then, a house falls on him! Candace asks her Mom, who is the wizard, to "bust" the boys. But Mom says what the boys were doing sounds like fun. She tells Candace she should have joined them. The dream ends, and Candace wakes up back on her bed. Outside, Phineas, Ferb, Buford, Baljeet, Isabella, and Jeremy are riding a giant unicycle. Jeremy and Candace agree that this is better than the sidewalk, and the unicycle rolls away.
