Woody's Roundup: A Rootin' Tootin' Collection of Woody's Favorite Songs is a super fun music album. It's also called Woody's Roundup for short. A cool Western music band named Riders in the Sky made this album. It was released on August 29, 2000, as a Compact Disc (CD).
This album is packed with Western-style songs. Many of them were inspired by the "Woody's Roundup" TV show. You might remember that show from the movie Toy Story 2. The album has new songs written by Riders in the Sky. It also includes songs by Randy Newman, who creates music for Toy Story. Plus, there are "cover songs," which are new versions of older, well-known tunes.
Woody's Roundup won a huge award! It received the Grammy Award for Best Musical Album for Children in 2001. This is a very important award for music made for kids. The song "Woody's Roundup" was even used by NASA. They played it to wake up the astronauts on the STS-133 space mission!
