History of Wooster Mountain State Park
When was Wooster Mountain State Park created?

The park was named after David Wooster. He was a general during the American Revolutionary War. In 1777, General Wooster chased British troops through this area. Sadly, he was badly hurt during this chase. The park's name honors his bravery.
