The World Sport Stacking Association (WSSA) is the main group that manages sport stacking around the world. Sport stacking is a fun sport where people stack special cups in different patterns as fast as they can. The WSSA is based in Larkspur, Colorado. This organization helps set up stacking competitions everywhere. They also keep track of the fastest times and records for the sport, both worldwide and in different countries.
How the WSSA Started
The WSSA began in 2001. It was first called the World Cup Stacking Association (WCSA). Bob Fox, who created the company Speed Stacks, started this group. Speed Stacks makes the special cups used in the sport. In 2005, the sport's name changed to "sport stacking." To match this, the organization also changed its name to the World Sport Stacking Association.
