Wren is a small, unincorporated community located in Lawrence County, Alabama, in the United States. It sits where two important roads meet: Alabama State Route 36 and Alabama State Route 33. Wren is about 3.1 miles (5 kilometers) south of a town called Moulton.
History of Wren
The community of Wren got its name from the Wren family. This family was among the first people to live in the area. For a short time, from 1896 to 1906, Wren even had its own post office. This means people living there could send and receive mail right in their community.
