Wubbzy's Big Movie! is a fun animated movie from 2008. It's based on the popular TV show Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!. This film first aired on the Starz Kids & Family channel on August 29, 2008. It was made by Starz Animation, Bolder Media, and Film Roman. This movie was special because it was the first Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! project not shown on Nickelodeon. A second movie, called Wubb Idol, came out later in 2009.
What the Movie is About
In Wubbzy's Big Movie!, Wubbzy has a big problem: he loses his memory! It's up to his best friends, Widget and Walden, to help him remember who he is.
The Story
The movie starts with Wubbzy, Widget, and Walden heading out to get some yummy doodleberry pie. But Wubbzy trips over a rock and rolls down a hill. When he stops, he can't remember anything! This is called "Knockity-Noggin" in the movie, which means he has amnesia.
Widget and Walden try their best to help Wubbzy remember. They tell him stories about their past adventures. The movie shows parts of old TV show episodes as flashbacks. These include episodes like "Puddle Muddle," "The Tired Tail," and "Pirate Treasure." There are also hints from "Wubbzy in the Woods" and "Escape from Dino Island." The story of the movie happens right after the "Puddle Muddle" episode. It's also about a week after "The Tired Tail," where Wubbzy hurt his tail.
Wubbzy still can't remember anything, even after all their efforts. So, Widget tries one last thing. She sends Wubbzy flying off a chair! He tumbles down a hill, bumping his head a few more times. Finally, he lands on his bottom. Widget asks if he's okay. Wubbzy replies, "Yeah, I'm fine! Come on, let's go get that doodleberry pie!"
Walden asks Wubbzy if he remembers doodleberry pie. Wubbzy says, "Sure, I love doodleberry pie!" Then Widget asks if he remembers them. Wubbzy happily says, "Of course, you guys are the best friends ever, I never forget you!" Walden realizes that Wubbzy's memory is back to normal.
Wubbzy, Widget, and Walden then go to get their doodleberry pie. Wubbzy makes one last funny "moo" sound, saying he was just kidding. Everyone laughs, and the movie ends happily.
