Early Life
Tara Lyn Charendoff was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on February 12, 1973. She is the younger daughter of Syd and Lucy Charendoff. Tara has said that her Jewish background is a very important part of who she is. She also has an older sister named Marla.
When Tara was only four years old, she became very interested in acting. She even volunteered to sing by herself in a school play. She worked with the Yiddish Theater, where she learned her lines by listening and repeating them, even though she didn't know the Yiddish language. She also performed with the Toronto Jewish Theater and sang on an audiotape with the Habonim Youth Choir.
Amazing Voice Acting Career

Tara Strong's first professional acting job was when she was 13. She played Gracie in a play called The Music Man. Around the same time, she got her first big cartoon role, voicing the main character in Hello Kitty's Furry Tale Theater. She also appeared in a TV show called Mosquito Lake. Personal Life
In 1999, Tara Strong met Craig Strong, who was a real estate agent and former actor. They got married on May 14, 2000. They have two sons named Sammy (born in February 2002) and Aden (born in August 2004). They used to own a company called VoiceStarz, which taught people how to become voice actors. Tara filed for divorce in 2019, and it was finalized in 2022. Later that same year, she started dating Willie Morris, who runs a farm called Happy Goat Farm.
Tara Strong is a vegan, which means she does not eat or use animal products. She also supports charities. In 2013, she helped a group called Bronies for Good raise money for a family whose daughter had a brain tumor.
