Xabier Anduaga is a talented Spanish opera singer. He is known as a tenor, which is a type of male singing voice. In 2019, he won first prize at the famous Operalia competition in Prague. He also won a special award there for singing zarzuela, which is a Spanish musical play.

Xabier Anduaga was born in 1995 in San Sebastián, a city in Spain. He studied music at the Musikene College of Music.
In 2016, he joined a special program called Accademia Rossiniana in Pesaro, Italy. There, he performed in an opera by Gioachino Rossini called Il viaggio a Reims. He played the role of Cavalier Belfiore.
Xabier made his first big stage appearance in opera at the Teatro Arriaga in Bilbao, Spain, also in 2016. He played the Prince in Rossini's opera La Cenerentola. After that, he sang in other Rossini operas, like Le siège de Corinthe, at the Rossini Opera Festival.
Xabier Anduaga has performed in many cities around the world. He has played the main character, Conte Almaviva, in Rossini's famous opera Il Barbiere di Siviglia. He has sung this role in places like St. Petersburg, Russia; Rouen, France; Beijing, China; Parma, Italy; Paris, France; and Naples, Italy.
On April 14, 2023, Xabier sang for the first time at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. He performed as Nemorino in the opera L'Elisir d'Amore.
