The Arriaga Theatre (called Teatro Arriaga in Spanish and Arriaga antzokia in the Basque language) is a beautiful opera house in the city of Bilbao, Spain. An opera house is a special theater built for performing operas, which are plays where the actors sing most of their lines.
The theatre is named after a very talented young musician, Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga. He was so good at composing music that people often called him the "Spanish Mozart."
History of the Theatre

However, the people of Bilbao worked hard to save their beloved theatre. It was carefully rebuilt and opened again to the public in 1985, looking as magnificent as it did before. Today, it stands as a symbol of the city's strength.
