Xaviera Gold is an African American singer known for her dance music. She used to be a DJ and a mixer. A DJ plays music for people, and a mixer helps create new versions of songs. Xaviera Gold worked at a radio station in Chicago called WBMX-FM.

In 1987, she had a very popular song called "You Used to Hold Me". She worked with another artist named Ralphi Rosario on this song. For this particular song, her name was listed as Xavier Gold, without the 'a' at the end.

Later, in 1993, Xaviera Gold had an even bigger hit. Her song "Gonna Get Back to You" reached the number one spot on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart. This means it was the most popular dance song in clubs at that time. She created this song with a group called Masters At Work.
