Xenia Louise Goodwin (born 7 February 1994) is an Australian actress and dancer. She is best known for her main role as Tara Webster in the TV series Dance Academy. This was her first time acting on screen. Xenia has also studied dance at the Tanya Pearson Classical Coaching Academy and the Valerie Jenkins Academy of Ballet.

Early Life and Inspiration
Xenia Goodwin was born in Sydney, Australia, on February 7, 1994. She loved dancing from a young age. Xenia has shared that she was inspired to become a dancer after watching the 1992 movie Strictly Ballroom. Her co-star in Dance Academy, Tara Morice, was also in that movie.
Becoming an Actress
Xenia's first big acting role was in the TV show Dance Academy. She played Tara Webster, a young student who dreams of becoming a professional dancer. The show was very popular and ran from 2010 to 2013.
In 2011, Xenia also appeared in an episode of the TV series The Jesters. Later, in 2015, she had a role in the show Winter. She also returned to play Tara Webster in the 2017 movie Dance Academy: The Comeback.

Overcoming Challenges
In July 2019, Xenia was in a serious car accident while visiting Greece. She had to have major surgery and a long recovery. Despite the challenges, Xenia has shown great strength and determination.
