Xuxa e Seus Amigos (which means Xuxa and Her Friends in English) is the very first music album by the famous Brazilian singer and TV host, Xuxa. It was released in November 1985 in Brazil. This album was special because it was the first time Xuxa used her stage name on a record.
On this album, Xuxa sings with many well-known guest artists. Some of these guests include Caetano Veloso, Zizi Possi, Marina, Nara Leão, Chico Buarque, Erasmo Carlos, and Biquini Cavadão. Even the comedy group Os Trapalhões sang on track 7, "Xa-Xe-Xi-Xo-Xuxa." The album was produced by Roberto Menescal.
In 1990, the album was re-released in Argentina. It was put out by Polygram (which is now Universal Music). For the Argentine release, the title was changed to Spanish: Xuxa Y Sus Amigos.
