Playing Career Highlights

Yosuke Fujigaya was born in Hamamatsu, Japan, on February 13, 1981. He started his professional football journey after finishing high school.

Early Career at Consadole Sapporo

Fujigaya joined Consadole Sapporo in 1999. He played for this club for six years. From 2003, he became the main goalkeeper for the team. He played 85 matches for Consadole Sapporo before moving to a new club.

Success with Gamba Osaka

In 2005, Fujigaya moved to Gamba Osaka, a very famous Japanese club. He quickly became their regular goalkeeper and played in many matches. During his time there, Gamba Osaka won several major titles:

  • The J1 League championship in 2005.
  • The 2007 J.League Cup in 2007.
  • The 2008 Emperor's Cup in 2008 and the 2009 Emperor's Cup in 2009.

Moving to Júbilo Iwata and Return to Gamba Osaka

After helping Gamba Osaka return to the top league, Fujigaya left the club in 2014. He joined his local team, Júbilo Iwata. He played 8 matches for them.
