Yacyretá Island (which means Isla Yacyretá in Spanish and "land of the Moon" in Guaraní, jasý retã) is an island located in the Paraná River. It is found in the Itapúa Department of Paraguay. The island is divided by the Yacyretá Dam, a large structure built across the river.
