Santiago "Yago" Iglesias Estepa (born on October 6, 1982) is a Spanish football manager. He is currently the manager for the Pontevedra football team.

Yago Iglesias's Coaching Journey
Yago Iglesias was born in Palmeira, a town in Ribeira, Galicia, Spain. He started his career in football as an assistant coach.
Early Coaching Roles
Iglesias worked as an assistant at CD Boiro from 2007 to 2009. After that, he was an assistant coach for Pontevedra CF B from 2009 to 2010.
In 2010, he became a senior manager for the first time with CSH Palmeira. This team played in a regional league called Tercera Autonómica.
He then worked as an assistant again at Portonovo SD. Later, he joined the coaching staff of Raúl Caneda at Al-Ittihad FC in Saudi Arabia.
Returning to Spain
Yago Iglesias came back to Spain in January 2013. He had to return because of some paperwork issues in Saudi Arabia.
On July 22, 2013, he took over as manager of Atlético de Riveira. This team also played in the regional leagues.
Managing Youth and Senior Teams
In July 2015, after coaching the youth team for Santiago de Compostela CF, Iglesias became the manager of Noia CF. Noia CF was a team in the Tercera División, which is a higher league.
On June 21, 2016, he moved to manage another team in the same league, SD Compostela.
Success with Compostela
Yago Iglesias had great success with Compos, which is what SD Compostela is often called. He led the team to the play-offs three times in a row.
In 2020, his team finally won promotion to Segunda División B. This meant they moved up to a higher division after four seasons. He signed a new contract to stay with the team for another year in August 2020.
Moving to Zamora and Pontevedra
In May 2021, Iglesias left Compostela after five successful years. On November 23, he took over Primera División RFEF side Zamora CF.
Currently, Yago Iglesias is the manager of Pontevedra.
