Yanliang District (Chinese: 阎良区, pronounced Yan-lee-ang Choo) is a special part of Xi'an, a big city in Shaanxi province, China. Its name comes from an old phrase, "Luyan Liangshan," which means "a good place to live." Yanliang is known for being a major center where airplanes are made.

Yanliang District is located in the northeast part of Xi'an. It is about 50 kilometers (31 miles) away from the very center of Xi'an city. To its east and north, you'll find Weinan Municipality. To the west is Xianyang Municipality, and to the south is Lintong District. Even though it's a bit far from the main city, Yanliang has a strong and healthy economy.
