Yaritza Miguelina Reyes Ramírez was born on December 17, 1993. She is a talented person from the Dominican Republic. Yaritza is known as an actress, singer, model, and a winner of beauty pageants.
She won the title of Miss Dominican Republic 2013. After that, she represented her country at the Miss Universe 2013 competition in Moscow, Russia. Later, she also won Miss Mundo Dominicana 2016. This led her to represent the Dominican Republic again at Miss World 2016 in Washington, D.C., United States.

Becoming Miss Dominican Republic 2013
On August 3, 2013, Yaritza Reyes took part in the Miss Dominican Republic 2013 contest. She represented the Elías Piña province. Yaritza won the competition and was crowned Miss Dominican Republic.
After winning, she went on to compete in the 62nd Miss Universe pageant. She was among the top 10 finalists in this big international event. Yaritza was also the third woman of mostly African heritage to represent the Dominican Republic in Miss Universe.
Competing in Reina Hispanoamericana 2013
Yaritza Reyes also represented the Dominican Republic at the Reina Hispanoamericana 2013 pageant. She achieved the title of Virreina, which is like a first runner-up.
Her Success at Miss World 2016
Yaritza continued her journey in beauty pageants. On June 18, 2016, she competed in the Miss Mundo Dominicana 2016 finale. She won this title, which meant she would represent the Dominican Republic at Miss World 2016.
The Miss World 2016 pageant took place on December 18, 2016. Yaritza did very well, placing as the Miss World America's 2016. This means she was the first runner-up in the entire competition. She also made it into the top 24 for two special awards: "Beauty with a Purpose" and the "Sport Competition."
