Yarkon National Park facts for kids
Yarkon Park is a super big and fun park in Tel Aviv, Israel. It's like a giant green playground for everyone! People also call it the Joshua Gardens (Ganei Yehoshua). It was named after Yehoshua Rabinovitz, who was the seventh mayor of Tel Aviv. The park stretches along the Yarkon River, all the way to where the river meets the Mediterranean Sea. The Yarkon River itself starts near Rosh HaAyin in the Yarkon National Garden. The Ayalon River also joins the Yarkon River inside the park.
