Yasuhito Morishima (森島 康仁, Morishima Yasuhito, born 18 September 1987) is a Japanese football player. He was born in Kobe, Japan, on September 18, 1987. Yasuhito mainly played as a forward during his career. He is known for playing for several Japanese clubs and representing his country in youth tournaments.

Club Career

Yasuhito Morishima started his professional football journey after finishing high school. In 2006, he joined Cerezo Osaka. He played many games in 2007, showing his skills on the field.

In July 2008, he moved to Oita Trinita. Even though the club later moved down to the J2 League in 2010, Yasuhito got more chances to play. He helped Oita Trinita return to the top league, the J1 League, in 2013.

After one season back in J1, Oita Trinita was relegated again. Yasuhito then moved to Kawasaki Frontale in 2014. He didn't play as much there, so he joined Júbilo Iwata in 2015. At Júbilo Iwata, he found it hard to get playing time because of another strong player, Jay Bothroyd. He left the club at the end of the 2016 season.

In 2017, Yasuhito signed with Tegevajaro Miyazaki, a club in the Japanese Regional Leagues. He had a very successful year, scoring 19 goals in 17 matches. His team was promoted to the Japan Football League at the end of that season. In 2018, he moved to another Regional Leagues club, Tochigi Uva FC.

National Team Career

Yasuhito Morishima also played for Japan's national youth teams. In July 2007, he was chosen for the Japan U-20 national team. He played in the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup. During this important tournament, he played 3 matches and scored 2 goals for his country.
