Yasutaka Kobayashi (小林 康剛, Kobayashi Yasutaka, born June 15, 1980) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a forward during his career.

Yasutaka Kobayashi's Football Journey

Early Career and First Steps

Yasutaka Kobayashi was born in Tokai, Ibaraki, Japan, on June 15, 1980. He started his football journey early. In 1999, he joined the youth team of Kashima Antlers. This club plays in the top Japanese league, the J1 League. However, he did not get to play much for the main team at first.

Playing on Loan and New Teams

In 2000, Yasutaka moved to Vegalta Sendai. This team was in the J2 League, which is the second division. He played a lot there as a forward and scored 6 goals. After one year, in 2001, he went back to Kashima Antlers. Still, he did not get much playing time.

In 2002, he joined another J2 club, Kawasaki Frontale. He stayed there for two seasons. Even though he was with the team, he did not play many matches.

Finding His Place in J2

Yasutaka moved to Mito HollyHock in 2004. This was another J2 League team. He became a regular player for most of that year. He played in 40 matches and scored 9 goals.

In 2005, he joined Tokushima Vortis. This club had just been promoted to the J2 League. Yasutaka played many games for them over three seasons. He was an important part of their team.
