Yasuyuki Moriyama (born May 1, 1969) is a former Japanese football player. He was a forward, which means he played in an attacking position to score goals. Moriyama also played for Japan's national football team.

Playing for Clubs
Yasuyuki Moriyama was born in Gifu, Japan. After finishing university, he joined a team called Nagoya Grampus Eight in 1992. With this team, he helped them win the 1995 Emperor's Cup. They also came in second place in an Asian competition called the 1996–97 Asian Cup Winners' Cup.
Moving to Different Teams
Later in his career, Moriyama played for several other clubs. These included Bellmare Hiratsuka in 1998, and even an international team, HIT Gorica in Slovenia, from 1998 to 1999. He also played for Sanfrecce Hiroshima in 1999, Kawasaki Frontale in 2000, and Consadole Sapporo from 2002 to 2003.
Retirement and Comeback
In July 2004, Moriyama announced he was retiring from playing football while he was still with Nagoya Grampus Eight. However, he made a comeback in 2005. He started playing again for his local team, FC Gifu, which was in a lower league at the time. He helped FC Gifu get promoted to the Japan Football League in 2007 and then to the J2 League in 2008. He officially retired from playing at the end of the 2008 season.
Later Role in Football
In February 2019, Moriyama took on a new role. He became a player-team director for FC Maruyasu Okazaki, a club in the Japan Football League. Even though he was listed as a player for two seasons until 2020, he did not actually play in any matches during that time.
Playing for Japan
Yasuyuki Moriyama also had the honor of playing for the Japan national football team. His first game for the national team was on June 15, 1997. He played against the Turkey team.
