Yavuz Turgul is a famous Turkish film director and screenwriter. He is well-known for creating many classic movies, especially those starring the popular actor Şener Şen. He has won many awards for his work, including several Golden Orange awards, which are like the Oscars of Turkey.

Early Life and Career Start
Yavuz Turgul was born in Istanbul, Turkey. He studied journalism at Istanbul University. After finishing his studies, he worked as a journalist for a magazine called Ses for six years. This experience helped him a lot before he started writing movie scripts.
Amazing Film Career
Yavuz Turgul started his film career in the late 1970s. He quickly became successful by writing scripts for many popular comedy movies. These early films were made with famous director Ertem Eğilmez and actor Kartal Tibet. Some of his early hits include Tosun Paşa (1976), Sultan (1978), and Hababam Sınıfı: Güle Güle (1981).
