Starting with Alphasquad (2012–2013)

When Emmanuel was moving from middle school to high school, he took music classes. These classes taught him how to make music. Soon, he started producing his own beats. He began to mix trap beats with old-school hip-hop sounds. He also found inspiration from cartoon shows.

Around this time, he helped form a hip hop group called Alphasquad. His group mates were Zae Abyss, Lvrd Blasian, Zarkito, and Monte G. They spent many days recording music at their homes. They spent nights producing and working on songs. These songs would become his first EPs and mixtapes. For a while, AugustWntr was the only full-time producer in Alphasquad. The other members were all rappers. This is why his first few mixtapes were mostly freestyle rap.

In 2013, his group mate Lvrd Blasian released his first mixtape, Road to Riches. Local fans really liked it. After this, Lvrd Blasian left Alphasquad until 2015. With Blasian gone, Zae Abyss and AugustWntr decided to lead the group together. AugustWntr's first release, Anti-Adventure, came out while Lvrd Blasian was away. He then released Xenon Lean and Neon Blossoms the next year.

Xenon Lean and Finding His Style (2014–2015)

Xenon Lean was AugustWntr's second mixtape released under the name "Azyn Porter". He put more effort into the details of this mixtape. It seemed like he was starting to find his own unique music style.

Albums: Gold, GoodMorning, and Nature Theory (2015–2016)

Gold was AugustWntr's first album that was mostly instrumental. It featured many experimental and electronic sounds. After Gold came out, AugustWntr released several smaller music collections called EPs. Even though Gold was a free album, he still earned $50 from it. This was thanks to his friend and YouTuber, DBoy9|IconSean. DBoy used AugustWntr's music in his gameplay videos. Gold is not currently on AugustWntr's Bandcamp page. However, it will be re-uploaded after Gold II is released.

GoodMorning was released one month after Gold. It had the same types of music as Gold. AugustWntr himself believes GoodMorning was better than Gold. But others think Gold was better. AugustWntr's Nature Theory is his second studio album. It has his classic experimental sounds. It also has a nature-inspired feeling. Nature Theory was the last album released under his former name, Yhaunai.

Looking Ahead: Gold II (2017)

Gold II is AugustWntr's follow-up album to Gold. This album will mainly feature electronic, hip hop, and trap instrumentals. The exact release date is not known yet, but it is planned for this year.
