Yi Ik (Hangul: 이익; Hanja: 李瀷, 1681–1763) was an important person from Korea's Joseon dynasty. He was a politician, an economist, and a philosopher. A philosopher is someone who studies big ideas about life and knowledge.

His nickname was Seongho (성호 星湖). His courtesy name was Jashin (자신 子新). In the Joseon dynasty, a courtesy name was given to men when they became adults.
