Yichida Ndlovu was born in Zambia. She completed her secondary school education at Ibenga Girls in 1976. In 1977, she was accepted into the School of Natural Sciences at the University of Zambia. This is where she studied subjects like science and math, which are very useful for a career in aviation.
Flying Career
Yichida Ndlovu began her exciting career as a pilot in 1981. Her first job was flying for an airline called Roan Air. She worked there for ten years, until 1991.
After her time at Roan Air, she started working for the Zambian government. She has been an important part of the Ministry of Communications, Transport, Works and Supply. This ministry helps manage things like roads, transportation, and communication in the country.
For many years, she has been working with the Zambia Flying Doctor Service, based in Ndola. This service is incredibly important because it provides medical help and transportation to people in remote or hard-to-reach areas of Zambia. As a pilot for them, Yichida Ndlovu helps fly doctors and medical supplies to those who need them most.

Yichida Ndlovu is married to Enock Ndlovu. Together, they have three children.
