Yohei Takeda (武田 洋平, born June 30, 1987) is a Japanese football player. He plays as a goalkeeper for Nagoya Grampus. Goalkeepers are special players who protect their team's goal.

Yohei Takeda's Football Journey

Yohei Takeda started his football career in 2006 with Shimizu S-Pulse. He played for this team until 2012. During this time, he also went on loan to other clubs.

In 2011, he played for Albirex Niigata for a short period. The next year, in 2012, he joined Gamba Osaka on loan. After leaving Shimizu S-Pulse, he played for Cerezo Osaka in 2013.

From 2014 to 2015, Takeda was a player for Oita Trinita. He played many matches for them. Since 2016, he has been playing for Nagoya Grampus. He continues to be an important part of their team.

Playing for Japan's National Team

Yohei Takeda also had the chance to play for his country. In July 2007, he was chosen for the Japan U-20 national team.

He played in the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup. This is a big tournament for young football players from around the world. Takeda played one match in this tournament against Nigeria.
