Yoichi Futori's Early Football Journey

Yoichi Futori started his football journey when he was a teenager. From 1998 to 2000, he was part of the youth team at JEF United Ichihara. This is where he began to develop his skills as a goalkeeper.

After his time with JEF United Ichihara, he continued to play football while studying. He attended Komazawa University from 2001 to 2004. Playing for a university team is a common path for young athletes in Japan.

Playing for Professional Clubs

Futori began his professional career in 2005 with Roasso Kumamoto. He played for this club until 2008. During his time there, he played in 19 league matches. He was a key part of the team's defense.

In 2009, he moved to Gamba Osaka, a bigger club in the J1 League. He stayed with Gamba Osaka until 2011. Even though he didn't play in any league games for them, he was part of a very successful team.

His last professional club was Tokyo Verdy, where he played from 2012 to 2013. He did not play in any league matches for Tokyo Verdy.
