Yoshimasa Suda was born in Tokyo, Japan, on August 22, 1967. After finishing his studies at Keio University, he started his professional football career.
Starting with Tokyo Gas
In 1990, Suda joined a team called Tokyo Gas. At that time, they were in the Japanese Regional Leagues, which is a lower division of Japanese football. He played many games as a forward, helping his team score goals. Because of their good performance, Tokyo Gas was promoted to the Japan Soccer League in 1991. This was a step up for the club and for Suda.
Time with Urawa Reds
In 1993, Yoshimasa Suda moved to a bigger team, Urawa Reds. This team played in the J1 League, which is the top professional football league in Japan. However, he did not get to play many matches for Urawa Reds during his time there.
Playing for Ventforet Kofu
The next year, in 1994, Suda joined Kofu SC. This team was part of the Japan Football League. He played in many games for Kofu SC that year. Even though he played a lot, he decided to retire from football at the end of the 1994 season.
