Young Inlet is a natural bay found in the Arctic part of Canada. It is located in the Qikiqtaaluk Region of Nunavut, which is a territory in northern Canada. This inlet is a part of the larger Sir William Parker Strait. It sits right next to the northeastern side of Bathurst Island. Young Inlet is also an important part of Qausuittuq National Park.

Geography of Young Inlet

An inlet is like a narrow arm of the sea, lake, or river that reaches into the land. Young Inlet has several interesting landforms around it. To the west, you will find Emma Point. Annie Point is located to the south of the inlet. To the east, there is an area called Cracroft Sound.

Inside Young Inlet itself, there is one island that does not have a name. North and northwest of the inlet, you can see the Berkeley Islands. These islands add to the unique landscape of this Arctic area.

Part of Qausuittuq National Park

Young Inlet is special because it is located within Qausuittuq National Park. This national park was created to protect the amazing Arctic environment. It helps to keep the land, water, and wildlife safe. The park is known for its beautiful polar desert landscapes. It is also home to many Arctic animals.
