Ysco is a company from Belgium that makes a lot of ice cream! They started way back in 1949. Since then, Ysco has become one of the biggest ice cream makers in Europe.
Ysco is part of a larger group called Milcobel, which is a dairy company. Ysco makes ice cream for many big stores across Europe. This is called "private label" ice cream, meaning it's sold under the store's own brand name, not Ysco's. They also make ice cream for restaurants and cafes. This is known as the "Foodservice" sector. Some of their own ice cream brands are Ysco and Appassionato. In 2009, they produced about 180,000,000 litres (40,000,000 imp gal; 48,000,000 US gal) of ice cream. That's a huge amount!
