Yuji Kimura (木村 祐志, Kimura Yūji, born 5 October 1987 in Minato, Tokyo) is a Japanese professional footballer. He plays as a midfielder for the club Kagoshima United FC.

Yuji Kimura's Football Journey
Yuji Kimura started his football journey in the youth system of Kawasaki Frontale. He played there from 2000 to 2005, learning the skills needed to become a professional player.
Early Professional Career
Kimura joined the senior team of Kawasaki Frontale in 2006. He played for them until 2010. During his time with Kawasaki Frontale, his team was a runner-up in the J1 League several times, including in 2006, 2008, and 2009. They also finished second in the J.League Cup in 2007 and 2009.
Moving to New Teams
After his time at Kawasaki Frontale, Kimura moved to Giravanz Kitakyushu in 2011. He played there for two seasons. Later, he joined Oita Trinita in 2013, where he continued to play as a midfielder.
In 2015, Kimura moved to Tokushima Vortis. He spent three seasons with this team. In 2017, he also had a short loan spell at Roasso Kumamoto. From 2018 to 2021, he played for Mito HollyHock.
Captain of Kagoshima United
In 2022, Yuji Kimura joined Kagoshima United FC. He quickly became an important player for the team. For the 2024 J2 League season, he was named the captain of Kagoshima United. This shows how much his teammates and coaches trust his leadership and experience on the field.
