Playing for Clubs

Yuki Okubo played for several teams in Japan's professional football league, the J.League. He started his senior career with Sanfrecce Hiroshima in 2003.

He then moved to Kyoto Sanga FC in 2005. After that, he played for Tochigi SC from 2009 to 2011. He also played for Tokushima Vortis and Matsumoto Yamaga FC.

His last club was JEF United Chiba, where he played from 2016 to 2017. Throughout his career, he played in 200 league games and scored 13 goals.

Playing for Japan

Yuki Okubo also represented his country. In 2002, he was part of the Japan national under-19's squad. They played in the 2002 AFC Youth Championship held in Qatar. This was an important tournament for young players in Asia.
