Yuliya Snigir (Russian: Юлия Викторовна Снигирь) is a famous Russian actress and model. She was born on June 2, 1983. Yuliya is known for her roles in many films and TV shows, both in Russia and internationally.

Yuliya Snigir's Early Life and Career Beginnings
Yuliya Snigir grew up in a town called Donskoy, in Russia. After finishing high school, she moved to Moscow. She wanted to get a good education. Yuliya studied English at the Moscow State Pedagogical University. She focused on English language and literature.
From Teacher to Model
While studying, Yuliya worked to support herself. She taught English at a nursery school. One day, a friend showed Yuliya's photos to a modeling agency. This led to her becoming a successful model. She even got a contract with a big French jewelry brand.
Becoming an Actress
Yuliya was planning to move to France for her modeling career. But then, a casting director saw her at the modeling agency. They invited her to try out for an acting role. This changed her path! She joined the Vakhtangov Theatre Academy to study acting. Her first movies were The Last Slaughter, Vaccine, and Gloss.

Yuliya's big break came with the Russian sci-fi movie The Inhabited Island in 2008. She played a main character in this film and its sequel. This role made her very well-known in Russia.
