Yumna Zaidi, born on July 30, 1989, is a talented Pakistani actress. She is famous for her roles in TV shows, especially dramas that tell stories about real life or romance. Yumna has won many important awards for her acting, including five Lux Style Awards and two Hum Awards.
She first appeared in a TV show called Thakan in 2012. After that, she started playing main characters in many popular series. Some of her early lead roles were in Meri Dulari and Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahi (both from 2013). She became very well-known for playing a troubled wife in Rishtay Kuch Adhooray Se (2014). Yumna Zaidi was born in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, on July 30, 1989.
Her father, who passed away in 2019, had a special job called a "numbardar." He was like a village leader in Muhammad Nagar, a village near Arif Wala in Punjab. His job involved helping to manage the village and collect taxes.

Television Roles
Starting Out (2012)
Yumna Zaidi's first time on screen was in a TV drama called Thakan in 2012. In this show, she played a supporting character. After that, she quickly got a main role in another drama called Khushi Ek Roag. She also appeared in Teri Raah Main Rul Gai, where she played a character named Maryam.
Becoming Famous (2013–Present)
Yumna Zaidi became well-known for playing characters with strong emotions. She earned praise for her roles in Meri Dulari (2013) and Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahi (2013). For Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahi, she was nominated for a Hum Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Her role as a troubled wife in Rishtay Kuch Adhooray Se (2013) made her one of Pakistan's top actresses. She was nominated for Hum Award for Best Actress for this role. Yumna also had a special appearance in the 2013 series Sannata. She played a supporting role in Kis Se Kahoon.
She gained even more recognition for her different roles in dramas like Mausam (2014), Madawa (2015), Guzaarish (2015), and Jugnoo (2015). She also starred in Kaanch Ki Guriya (2015), Paras (2015), and Aap ki Kaneez (2015). Many of these roles earned her nominations for Best Actress awards.
In 2016, she starred in Zara Yaad Kar as Uzma Ikhtiar. In 2017, she appeared in Hum TV's Yeh Raha Dil as Hayat, a character whose mother had passed away and father had left her. Viewers really liked her chemistry with her co-star, which led to a nomination for Best on-screen couple.
From 2018 to 2019, Yumna appeared in Pukaar as Samra. She also played Hajra in the social drama Inkaar. She made a special appearance in the series Choti Choti Batain and had a small role in Ishq Zahe Naseeb. She also appeared as Raina in a TV movie called Shaadi Impossible.
Film Debut
Yumna Zaidi made her first movie appearance in 2024. She played the main character, an aspiring cricketer, in a film called Nayab.
