Momina Duraid (Urdu: مُومِنہ دُرید, born 30 June 1971) is a famous Pakistani director and producer. She is a top producer and creative leader at the TV channel Hum TV. She also runs her own company, MD Productions. Momina Duraid has created many popular TV shows. These include Dastaan, Humsafar, and Zindagi Gulzar Hai.
In 2015, Momina also started directing movies. She co-directed the film Bin Roye. Later that year, she started a film company called Hum Films. She is married to Duraid Qureshi. Her mother-in-law, Sultana Siddiqui, founded Hum Network. In 2015, Momina was named one of the "100 Most Inspirational Women" by Pond's.

Momina Duraid's Journey in Media
Before working in media, Momina Duraid was a marketing executive at a bank. She never thought she would work in television. Her mother-in-law, Sultana Siddiqui, was already in the industry. Momina first helped with finances. She then moved into the creative side of TV production.
First Steps in Production
Momina's first independent TV series was Mere Paas Paas. This show was well-received by critics. In 2010, she produced Dastaan. This drama was about the Partition of India. It was based on the novel Bano by Razia Butt. The show starred Fawad Khan and Sanam Baloch. Dastaan became very popular. It won the Hum Honorary Most Challenging Subject Award. It also received many nominations at the 10th Lux Style Awards. After this success, Momina started her own company, Momina Duraid Productions. She became a senior producer at Hum TV.
Creating Humsafar
In 2011, Momina Duraid convinced Farhat Ishtiaq to turn her novel Humsafar into a TV series. Two other companies had already said no to the idea. When Humsafar was released, it became instantly famous. People all over the world loved it. Many critics said Humsafar helped revive the drama industry. The show gained a huge fan following. This was especially true in India, Europe, and North America. The main actors, Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan, became very popular. Hum TV gave the show a special Hum Honorary Phenomenal Serial Award.
Venturing into Films
In 2015, Momina co-directed her first film, Bin Roye. This movie was made under her company, Hum Films. It received great reviews. Bin Roye became one of the highest-earning Pakistani films ever. After Bin Roye, Hum Films has produced and distributed many more movies. These films have been shown both in Pakistan and other countries. In 2016, several of Momina's popular TV shows became available on Netflix. These included Dastaan and Humsafar.
