Yunquera is a charming town and municipality located in the province of Málaga. This area is part of the autonomous community of Andalucía in southern Spain. Yunquera is found in the eastern part of the province.
The town is about 36 kilometers (22 miles) from Ronda and 63 kilometers (39 miles) from Málaga, which is the capital city of the province. Around 3,300 people live in Yunquera. People who are from Yunquera are called Yunqueranos.

Location and Climate
Yunquera is special because it is the most elevated town in the province of Málaga. This means it is located at a higher altitude than other towns in the area.
The weather in Yunquera can change a lot. In winter, temperatures can drop below 20 °C (68 °F). In summer, it can get very hot, with temperatures reaching over 40 °C (104 °F) in the shade.
