Yusuke Tasaka (田坂 祐介, Tasaka Yusuke, born 8 July 1985) is a Japanese professional football midfielder. He is known for his time playing for Kawasaki Frontale in Japan and VfL Bochum in Germany.

Yusuke Tasaka's Football Journey
Early Days and Youth Football
Yusuke Tasaka was born in Hiroshima, Hiroshima, Japan. He started his football journey with his hometown team, Sanfrecce Hiroshima. He played regularly for their youth teams. In 2003, he helped his team win the J-League Youth Cup. Some of his teammates then included Yojiro Takahagi and Issei Takayanagi.
After finishing high school, Yusuke had a chance to join the main Sanfrecce Hiroshima team. However, he chose to continue his studies. He decided to play football while attending Aoyama Gakuin University.
Playing for Kawasaki Frontale
After finishing university, Yusuke Tasaka joined Kawasaki Frontale in 2007. He was given the jersey number 6. He played his first game in the J-League on September 23, 2007. This match was against Kashiwa Reysol, and Kawasaki Frontale lost 4–0.
Moving to Germany
On July 24, 2012, Yusuke left Kawasaki Frontale to play for VfL Bochum in Germany. His first game for Bochum was on August 12, 2012. He played against Dynamo Dresden in the 2. Bundesliga, which is a professional football league in Germany.
Return to Japan
After playing in Germany, Yusuke Tasaka returned to Kawasaki Frontale in 2015. He continued to play for them until 2018. In 2019, he joined JEF United Chiba and played there until 2020.
Career Highlights
Throughout his career, Yusuke Tasaka played in many matches. He scored a total of 31 goals in 272 games. He also helped his teams achieve success. With Kawasaki Frontale, he won the J1 League title twice, in 2017 and 2018. He also helped his teams reach the finals of several other competitions, like the J.League Cup and the Emperor's Cup.
