Yuyuko Takemiya (竹宮 ゆゆこ, Takemiya Yuyuko, born February 24, 1978) is a Japanese writer. She is famous for creating exciting stories. She writes light novels, which are like short novels with illustrations. She also writes longer novels and manga comics.

About Yuyuko Takemiya

Yuyuko Takemiya started her writing career in September 2004. Her first light novel series was called Watashitachi no Tamura-kun. This story first appeared in a special magazine.

In the same month, she also helped write the story for a game. It was a story-based game called Noel.

Her Popular Stories

After Watashitachi no Tamura-kun, Yuyuko Takemiya began her most well-known series. This series is called Toradora!. It became very popular. She finished the Toradora! series in April 2010. It had ten main books and three extra spin-off books.

Her next big series was Golden Time. The first book of Golden Time was a special milestone. It was the 2000th light novel published by Dengeki Bunko.

Yuyuko Takemiya also started a manga series. It is called Evergreen. She worked on this manga with an artist named Akira Caskabe. The series began in July 2011. It finished being published on May 27, 2015.
