The yuzu is a special type of citrus fruit and plant. It first grew in East Asia. The fruit looks a bit like a small, yellow grapefruit with a rough skin. It starts green and turns yellow as it gets ripe.
Yuzu is very popular in Japanese and Korean cooking. It smells and tastes a bit like a lemon, but it has a more flowery, lime-like flavor.
