Yosuke Nishi (西 洋祐, Nishi Yōsuke, born May 12, 1983) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a Midfielder.

Playing Career

Yosuke Nishi was born in Sendai, Japan, on May 12, 1983. He started his football journey in the youth team of Vegalta Sendai.

Early Years at Vegalta Sendai

In 2002, Nishi joined the main team of Vegalta Sendai. This was a big step for him, as the club had just moved up to the J1 League, which is Japan's top football league.

He played his first professional match in the 2003 Emperor's Cup. However, he didn't get to play many games during his first two years. In 2003, Vegalta Sendai was moved down to the J2 League, the second division. In 2004, Nishi played in 5 matches, usually coming on as a substitute.

Moving to Regional Leagues

In 2005, Nishi decided to move to Grulla Morioka. This club played in the Japanese Regional Leagues, which are lower divisions. Here, he got more chances to play and became an important part of the team for two seasons.

Time at Sony Sendai

In 2007, Nishi joined Sony Sendai, a team in the Japan Football League. This league is another step up from the Regional Leagues. He had a great year in 2007, playing in all 34 matches. But in 2008, he didn't play as much.

Return to Grulla Morioka and Retirement

In 2009, Yosuke Nishi went back to Grulla Morioka. He played there for three more seasons until 2011. During this time, he was a regular player for the team.

Yosuke Nishi decided to retire from playing professional football at the end of the 2011 season.
