Zabryna Guevara (born January 12, 1972) is an American actress. She is famous for her roles as Melania Ortiz in the TV show 3 lbs and as Sarah Essen in Gotham.
Zabryna is also a talented theater actress. In 2013, she played the character Yazmin in the award-winning play Water by the Spoonful. This play was shown at the Second Stage Theater. Zabryna Guevara has a mixed background, with both Hispanic and Black family roots.

Zabryna Guevara's Acting Journey
Zabryna Guevara began her acting career in 1997. Her very first role was as Lucita in the TV show Law & Order. In the same year, she also appeared in the movie The Hotel Manor Inn, playing a character named Denise.
She later returned to the Law & Order world. She guest-starred in two episodes of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2002 and 2005. In 2003, she was back on Law & Order as Salma.
A big role for her came in 2006. She starred as Melania Ortiz in the series 3 lbs. In 2013, she performed in the play Water by the Spoonful, which won awards. She played Yazmin in this play at the Second Stage Theater.
