Zain Saidin was born on June 7, 1984, in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He is the youngest of four children. His family background is mixed, with both Malay and English heritage. His older sister, Sasha Saidin, is also an actress and singer. She was part of a popular girl group called Elite in the 1990s.
Before he started acting in his mid-20s, Zain worked as a personal trainer. This means he helped people exercise and get fit.
