Zambezi is a special region in Namibia, a country in southern Africa. Its main city and capital is Katima Mulilo. The region gets its name from the mighty Zambezi River, which flows along its border.
Before 2013, this area was known as Caprivi. It was renamed Zambezi to celebrate the famous river.

The Zambezi Region is a true paradise for animals. It is home to about 450 different kinds of animals! This includes many large and amazing creatures like elephants.
