About Zephani Idoko
Zephani Idoko was born in Lagos, Nigeria. Her parents are Deborah and John Idoko. She is the youngest of six children. Later, she moved to the United States. She studied acting at the Academy Of Art in San Francisco, California. She earned a special degree called a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA).
While she was still in college, Zephani started working. She worked as an actor and a model. She met her husband in San Francisco. They got married four years later, in 2019. Now, Zephani and her husband live in New York City.
Zephani's Acting Career
After finishing college, Zephani moved to New York City. Soon after, she got a main role in a movie. It was an independent psychological horror film called The Unsettling. This movie was shown at film festivals in Australia, the UK, and the US in 2021 and 2022. The Unsettling was released on February 10, 2023. You can watch it on Apple TV+, Prime Video, and other streaming services.
Zephani has also been busy with TV shows. She has a repeating role as Stephanie in the Starz show Power Book II: Ghost. She also appeared in the second season of HBO Max's Gossip Girl.
Nanny Film Success
In June 2021, it was announced that Zephani would be in the movie Nanny. She played a supporting role as Sallay. Nanny is a psychological horror film. It was made by Blumhouse and Amazon Studios. The movie first showed at the Sundance Film Festival in 2022. It won the top award there, the Sundance Grand Jury Prize.
